  Clearly, as the priest here, I am enthusiastic about St. John Chrysostom Greek Orthodox Church. It is indeed a wonderful parish community. Not founded by a Greek community, but rather through the outgrowth and labors of nearly 12 years of the Alektor Cafe and Bookstore. The Church is a nice mix of young and old, natal Orthodox, and converts. Come and see!

  I am not Eastern Orthodox, but I have long been interested in Orthodox liturgy. I have visited St. John Chrysostom Greek Orthodox Church in my neighborhood several times. Even though I am clearly not Orthodox (I never know when to bow, cross myself, etc.), the people at this church have always made me feel welcome. Even though it's a tiny little building, it is exceptionally beautiful inside. And outside they've really done a nice job, with a little picnic area and playground for kids.
