My Husband and I are in the process of an adoption and our youngest son has behavioral issue and would come home with a negative note from the school every other day. So we applied for behavioral therapy (while providing notes from the school) for our son and therefore DCS followed up with the school regarding his behavior. The school denied all behavioral issues. Now we have been declined any behavioral help from DCS. Also on another issue, my daughter would come home with the lunch that we would pack for her with a note from the teacher that she doesn't like anything other than PB&J's so instead the teacher gives her snacks (well of course a child will only eat sweet things if you allow them). When I approached the school Director (after asking the teacher to stop on several occasions) I asked her to discontinue any snacks until she starts eating her well balanced lunch that we provide and she refused. These are just a few of the issues we have had with the school. Due to the well being of our childrens behaviorial development and nutrition we have decided to withdraw.

  • Southminster Child Care is a close-knit group of families and staff. They provide a loving and nurturing atmosphere for little ones, and I feel relieved knowing they are genuinely being cared for while they are learning. We've had a wonderful experience in every classroom as our kids have progressed through the center.
